Obituary of Kimberly Lynn Sergeant

Kimberly Lynn Sergeant passed away peacefully in the arms of her mother Tammy and stepfather Steve on September 25, 2023, in Centralia, Wash.  She was born September 7, 1982, to Tammy and Lon Sergeant in Olympia, Wash.

Kimi graduated from Avanti High School in Olympia, and cosmetology school in Lacey, Wash.  Professionally, she was an insurance agent, worked in management at Shipwreck Beads, and was a barista. She loved to dabble in many things and had a natural ability to connect with everyone she worked with.

Kimi was wholesome and loved those around her deeply. She had a natural way of lighting up any room she walked into with her beautiful smile. She always found humor in life and loved to crack jokes, laugh, and be silly. There was never a dull moment when she was around.  She was incredibly smart, beautiful, witty, and wild, and yet also so grounded and spiritual, truly a one-of-a-kind soul with an uncanny ability to find the beauty in all things.

Kimi loved so many things, including painting, music, yoga, making jewelry, baking, cooking, and of course, can’t forget her love for all things Halloween. She also really loved animals and had many fur babies over the years; they were the light of her life.

She is survived by her mother, Tammy Gee; stepfather, Steven Gee; father, Lon Sergeant; brothers, Rip Sergeant and Steven Gee; sisters, Karena Koestner and Kelsi Redding; aunt, Rebecca Wood; uncle, Chris Wood; nieces, Brooklyn and Peyton Redding; nephew, Colton Gee; and grandparents, Bill and Marylou Burgard and Jerome Gee.
