Obituary of Patricia Anne Cooper

Patricia Anne Cooper passed away September 1, 2023, in Lacey, Washington.  She was born January 21, 1954, to Winnie and Adolph Kopp at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska.   

 

Patricia graduated with the Class of 1972 from Okinawa’s Kadena High School and attended the Olympic College in Shelton, Washington. She married Terence Cooper in 1973 in Wilmington, Delaware, becoming an Air Force wife as well as being an Air Force daughter.  Through the years, she resided at Libya, Africa, Wheelus Air Force Base (three years); Okinawa, Japan, Kadena Air Force Base (three years); and Dover, Delaware Air Force Base, before becoming a Washingtonian 25 years ago.

 

Patricia was kind, loving, adventurous, funny, and a devoted wife and mother.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, baking, and camping. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Girl Scouts.

 

Patricia will be forever remembered and greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Terence Cooper; sons, Travis Cooper, Miles Cooper, and Everett Cooper; daughters, Rachel Terry and Grace Cooper; two grandchildren; brothers, Adolph Kopp and Eddie Kopp; and sister, Winnie Warner. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Mary Kopp.
