Obituary of Thelma Elizabeth Hepp

Thelma Elizabeth Hepp passed away October 3, 2022, in Olympia, Washington, her home of 70 years.  She was born January 19, 1939, to Raleigh Howard Hays and Lillian Maley Hays Ladd in Iola, Kansas, and raised by Bert and Nina Rayment.

 

Thelma married Gordon W. Hepp on September 1, 1956.  She worked as a claims adjuster for Washington state.  She enjoyed gardening, her pets, family, dancing, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and collecting angels and bells.  She will be remembered for her strong will, and how much she loved her pets and family.

 

She is survived by her son, Wesley E. Hepp Sr.; daughters, Cathy S. Tobeck and Barbara J. Gansberg; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Duggie Hays; and sister, Phyllis Cooper.  She was predeceased by her son, Wayne Hepp; parents; brother, Frank Hays; and sister, Marjorie Hays.

 

Burial at Odd Fellows Memorial Park in Tumwater, Washington.
