Obituary of Joseph Wert Tyler

Joseph Wert “Joey” Tyler passed away April 13, 2022, in Pe Ell, Washington. He was born March 3, 1982, to Fred and Sherry Tyler in Centralia, Washington.

A lifelong resident of Pe Ell, Joseph attended Pe Ell High School.  He was the business owner of JT Floor Covering.  He loved the outdoors, especially camping, hunting, and fishing, and he took joy in sharing these loves with friends and family.

Joseph was dedicated to his loving wife, Becca, being her partner for life, and together raising their children, Bentley and Ashley. Children loved Joseph; he would always play with them. He especially loved teaching his son, Bentley, and sharing his love of hunting and fishing.

Friends were also important to Joseph.  Everyone said he could make them laugh when needing a friend and during hard times. He touched many lives through his life. He was furiously loyal, while being true to who he was and what he saw in himself. He was always quick to apologize, forgive, and move on. He worked hard, played hard, and loved hard. He will be greatly missed.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Rebecca Mullis; children, Bentley and Ashley; sister, Aleisha Tyler Johnson (husband, Graham Johnson); nieces and nephews, Morgan, Samuel, Efrem, Clover, and Jett; parents, Fred and Sherry Tyler; and grandmother, Leona Treznoski.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, William and Evelyn Tyler, and John Treznoski.
