Obituary of Victoria Ann McQuade

Victoria Ann McQuade was born on January 21, 1946, in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She moved to Washington State in 1977 with her husband, William McQuade. She passed away on December 22, 2021, at home in Olympia, Washington.

Victoria spent her most valued time with her close friends and family. She loved the views of the Pacific Coast, and camping at the beach. They frequently rented houses at Pacific Beach and made countless unforgettable memories together. When she wasn’t traveling beachside, you could find her winning big, playing cards and bingo with her friends and family. You could always spot her at the casino, zipping around in her favorite fuzzy hat on her speed machine scooter. Her children will always remember the extravagant ways she celebrated their birthdays, making each one special. Victoria also had an appreciation for genealogy, and payed homage to her Swedish ancestry by cooking traditional Swedish dishes for her family. Her spunky attitude and overflowing heart left smiles wherever she went.  

Victoria is preceded in death by her husband, William McQuade (March 6, 2006); son, Jeff L. Jackson. She is survived by her children, Thomas Ray Jackson, Michael T. Jackson, Douglas W. Krziske, and Michelle K. Brathovd; and 11 grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at the VFW Post #318, 2902 Martin Way E, Olympia, WA 98506.
