Obituary of Richard Dean Klumpp

Richard Dean Klumpp passed away January 19, 2022, in Pierce County, Washington, at age 15.  He lived with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and passed away from complications of the disease.

Richard was born May 7, 2006, to Kurt and Carmen Klumpp in Pierce County.

 A resident of Rainier, Washington, for 11 years, Richard completed 9^th grade at Rainier High School.  He was outspoken, determined, witty, tactful, strong-willed and smart. He enjoyed playing video games, watching disaster movies with destructive scenes, playing with cars and going to Universal Studios.  He was a member of Prairie Baptist Fellowship.

 Richard is survived by his parents, Kurt and Carmen Klumpp; grandparents, Mark Miller, Shirlee Miller, and Judy Sallmen; brothers, KC Dean, David, Alexander, Kayden, Alex, and Garrett Klumpp; and sisters, Courtney and Brooke Klumpp.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Lloyd Klumpp and Carol Clinton-Klumpp.
