Obituary of Michael M. McGoldrick

Michael M. McGoldrick passed away after a long-term illness and kidney failure on October 13, 2021, in Tumwater, Washington.  He was born February 28, 1948, to Mike and Elsie McGoldrick in Tacoma, Washington. He lived in the Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater area most of his life.

 

Michael graduated from North Thurston High School in 1966, and joined the U.S. Navy on March 14, 1968.  He married Donna Beadles on May 6, 1994, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.  Professionally, he worked in sheet metal-HVAC installation at Sunset Air.  He was a member of AMVETS (veteran’s service organization).

 

Michael was a caring and loving person.  He would help anyone with projects.  He loved fishing, camping, boating, bowling, and gardening.  He loved flowers, his cats, Mandy and Gracie, and spending time with friends and family.

 

He is survived by his wife, Donna L. McGoldrick of Tumwater; daughter, Debbie Callar of Olympia; grandchildren, Matt Elliott, Morgan Callar and Ryan Callar; and sisters, Marjorie Ryan of Colorado, and Barb Pruitt of Olympia.  His parents predeceased him.
