Obituary of Honey D. Badger

Honey D. Badger died peacefully Friday, June 4, 2021, at home in Rainier, Washington.

Honey was born Christmas day, December 25, 1944, in Shelton, Washington, to Charles and Zuella “Sue” Payne. Being a military family, she moved around the country a lot but eventually found her way to New Hampshire, where she met and later married Glenn C Badger Sr. They have four children, Glenn Jr., David, Laura, and Alesha. Glenn and Honey were married 59 years, always looking after one another.

Honey was a friend to all. As a homemaker, she raised four kids, a ton of animals (goats, cows, chickens, etc.) and always enjoyed volunteering at the local food bank. She loved big hugs and got a kick out of a good prank. She is truly missed.

Honey was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Zuella “Sue” Payne; and sister, Ruthie. She is survived by her husband, Glenn C. Badger Sr.; four children, Glenn Jr. (Linda) Badger, David (Jana) Badger, Laura Badger, and Alesha (Ed) Hoover; sisters, Lois Ihlen and Charlie Six; 11 grandchildren and several great grands.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Honey at her Badger Farms home, 12831 Hubbard St. SE, Rainier, WA 98576 on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. All who wish to share her memory are welcome.
