Obituary of Ana Masa Johnson

Ana Masa Johnson was born to Rev. Masa and Sina Sagiao on July 3, 1960 in American Samoa.  She was a graduate of Cleveland High School in Seattle, Washington, and then enlisted in the U.S. Army. Her 11+ years of service include many commendations and awards.  After discharge, she joined the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk, and eventually became a city letter carrier in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

 

Ana passed away June 3, 2021, in Aberdeen, Washington.  She was preceded to Heaven by her daughter, Tiana, and is survived by her sons, Robert Johnson and Damian Sagiao; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; six brothers; a sister; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

 

Ana’s funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021, 10:30 a.m. at South Sound Manor, 455 North St. SE, Tumwater, WA 98501.  See the simulcast link above.  Burial will on June 16, 2021, 11:30 a.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross or the Wounded Warrior Project.
