Obituary of Judy Ann Drews

Judy Ann Drews was granted her angel wings at the age of 66 and went home on April 16, 2021.

Judy was born October 3, 1954, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The New Mexico mountains were her home. She lived in numerous places including, Germany, Alabama, Washington State, Maryland, Texas, California, Kentucky, and Kansas, and she had many other wonderful adventures along the way.

She loved family, friends, and get- togethers, such as BBQs, camping, softball, road trips, and family reunions, and many others made her life complete. She always said, “I’ll bring the mimosas.”

Judy’s Civil Service career helped with her travels. She worked with military troops and their families, helping with incoming/outgoing transfers to bases and posts, and helping spouses with resumes, budgets,  putting together memorials for fallen troops, and helping families to cope.

Judy was an amazing woman, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She could be feisty at times and liked things done her way. When they weren’t, she just did them herself.  She was loving and caring to everyone she met. Her grandchildren could not ask for a better “G-ma.. She will be greatly missed.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Alisa; son, Chuck; grandchildren, Ciara, Taten and Alexandria; two great-granddaughters, Adylynn and Isabella; her brothers, Mike, BJ, Sam, George; sisters, Donna, Patty, Sandra; and her loving dad, Bill “POP.”
