Obituary of Michael David Foxworth Sr.

Michael David Foxworth, Sr., 53, passed away after a valiant fight with lung cancer on October 16, 2020, in Olympia, Washington, his home of 31 years.  He was born October 26, 1966, to Billy Foxworth Sr. and Frances M. Bennett Foxsworth in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He also lived in New Orleans.

 

Michael was a truck driver at KT Charboneau Trucking. He was an avid New Orleans Saints Fan, and loved football, NASCAR, and traveling. He is famously known for screaming, “Who Dat?” on Sunday afternoons.

 

He is survived by his fiancé, Tonya Bradshaw; sons, Michael Foxworth Jr. (Megan) of Hammond, Louisiana, Scott Dufrene (Kayla) of Hammond; stepsons, Justin Norman and Joshua Norman of Chehalis, Washington, and Amos Wood of Olympia; daughter, Briana Foxworth; 11 grandchildren, with another due in April 2021; and his beloved furchild, Gunnar.  He also is survived by his father, Billy Foxworth Sr. of Westport, Washington; brothers, Jeffrey Ice (Susan) of Loxahatchee, Florida, Billy Foxworth Jr. (Deanna) of Olympia, Anthony Foxworth of Aberdeen, Washington; sister-in-law, Joann Sovey of Clovis, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his mother, Frances Foxworth; and sister, Chandra Ice.

 

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at Napavine Cemetery, 800 E. Grand Blvd., Napavine, WA 98565.
