Leanne was an icon in the Secretary of State's office through several elections. As a former Executive Secretary during the Kramer years, I had the privilege of knowing this wonderful lady. I looked forward to seeing her friendly, smiling face each day. She was helpful in so many ways and loved by all of us who knew her.

I worked with Leanne in the secretary of State’s Office during the Kramer era. As others have noted, Leanne was the face of that office. She was knowledge, friendly and always had a smile on her face. She was loved by many.

As a former assistant Secretary of State, I remember Leanne as the friendly, fun, knowledgeable receptionist for the office. For much of the public, she was the face of the office. Hers was always a friendly, helpful one. Since people wandering through the capitol often didn’t know where to go for services, Leanne would tell them where to go and how to get there. She was also encouraging and supportive.
My condolences go out to Leanne's family. Thanks for sharing her with us for so many years.

I worked in the Secretary of State’s office (Elections Division) in the 70’s. While we were in a different building from the main office where Leanne worked, I remember her at the front desk when going to the main office for staff meetings. Leanne was always so cheerful and professional and was so helpful to all of us. Condolences to you the family and friends of a wonderful person.

I rode in the car with Leanne & Lola Blue to Olympia to our jobs every day during the year of 1953 with Mrs. Cruise driving. She always got us there on time altho sometimes it seemed a little hazardous. I always sat in the middle in the back seat & learned alot of life from those two gals and we had alot of laughs. I admired Leanne so much because she was so pretty & always looked so special & well dressed. I am sorry to hear of her passing. Shirley Reyolds Baker
