Obituary of Jack W. Sousie

Jack W. Sousie passed away February 15, 2020, in Olympia, Washington.

Jack was born in Aberdeen, Washington, on June 22, 1926, to George and Anna Sousie.  He was raised in Olympia and graduated from Olympia High School with the class of 1944.  In 1953, he received a certificate in accounting from the International Accountants Society.  In 1944 during World War II, he served in the Merchant Marines until 1947.

Jack was employed by the State of Washington for 37 years, retiring in 1988 as the Deputy Director of the Department of Trade and Economic Development. 

Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Beverly.  He is survived by their three children, Mindee (Tim) Zandell of Olympia, Marc (Karen) Sousie of Olympia, and Michael Sousie of Connell, Washington; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, March 2, 2020, 1:00 p.m. at the Gallery at Panorama restaurant.
