Obituary of Patricia May Vogt

Patricia May Vogt, age 95, passed away November 18, 2019 in Olympia, Washington.  She was born May 31, 1924 to Grace Hattie Sanders and Alcott Porter Boardman in Napavine, Washington.  Pat lived on the family farm for more than 60 years.  She also lived in Seattle, Yelm and Tumwater.

Patty graduated from Olympia High School in 1942.  She married Franklin “Bud” Vogt on December 24, 1942.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.  She had a wonderful sense of humor, and enjoyed bowling, golfing and crafts.

She is survived by her husband; son, Gene Vogt of Seattle; daughters, Sandy Corbin and Ronda Richardson, both of Olympia; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and sister, Lois Crawford of Montesano, Washington.  She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Lad; and sisters, Vee, Peggy and Rolene.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 26, 2020, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge #186, 1818 4th Ave. E, Olympia, WA 98506.
