James Jonathan Morris was born January 13, 1977 in Seattle, Washington, to Robert J. Morris, Jr. and Helen E. “Christie” Morris.

James graduated from Liberty High School in 1995. He studied in the Running Start program at Seattle Central Community College in 1994-1995. He studied Business Environment Science at Cascade College in 1995-1996. Further studies were in Pre-Law/Political Science at Abilene Christian University in 1997. He worked at Washington Interior Exterior Systems Local Union No. 41. Also, he worked as a carpenter with his friend Matt. Jim enjoyed working in the exotic automobile collision repair business in 1998 to the present. He loved to snowboard every winter. He was a wonderful trainer, teaching children how to snowboard. Jim loved to go to bars to hang out with family and friends, and he loved to play card games. Jim thought of the 4th of July as his and daughter Bailey’s holiday. He loved going out on Easter egg hunts and spending after-Christmas holidays with Bailey and always made it special. He liked fishing for salmon and trout with family and friends. Jim attended the Church of Christ in Shoreline, Washington, and Church of Christ in Graham, Washington.
