Obituary of Karen Jean Purviance

Karen Jean Purviance, 73, passed away of Alzheimer’s on February 3, 2019 in Olympia, Washington.  She was born December 10, 1945 to Eugene John McClure and Carol Lynn (Roehl) McClure in Seattle, Washington.

 

Karen married David Wayne Purviance on February 19, 1999.  She was married four previous times, adding Steele, Lawrence, North and Willis to her name.  She was a cook and caregiver.  She enjoyed beeding, ceramics and shopping. She loved animals and always had pets.  She also loved being outdoors.  The best words to describe Karen are “on the go.”  She was active 24/7.

 

Karen is survived by her son, Arthur Todd Steele; daughters, Kimberly Carol Steel Baker, and Julie Lynn Lawrence Carton; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her last husband, David Purviance.
