What can I say about the kind and gentle lady who brought me into this world? She was our family's guiding light and the rock of support. She was always there to listen and help without judgement. Her caring was infectious and she truly showed me how to care as well. She was strong and steadfast and always endeavored to pursue. She was courageous. Not only helping family and friends but having the strength and courage to confront her own physical challenges as she grew older. She will always be loved and missed by all that she touched. As it is often said " A person is never really gone as long as they remain in our hearts" and she is in so many hearts. The world was a better place with her in it and will be less without her presence. I will miss her greatly but she will always remain in my heart. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She has left a legacy for my entire family to be proud of and aspire to now and forever. Dignity, Strength, Courage and Compassion were her key components. I love you Mom

The timeless walks around the lake in Allyn, WA. The hundreds of pennies lost to the railroad tracks that we, Grandma and I, attempted to place ever so carefully in order to be flattened and retrieved the next day. The continual laughs heard through out the homes they lived in where I visited and stayed. Johnny Carson late nights sitting between both Grandma and Grandpa when I should have been in bed. Catching frogs, fishing and boat trips. Grandpa cooking me silver dollar pancakes by the pound while Grandma encouraged me to eat as many as I could until I was literally stuffed and proud.
The time I told the waiter or waitress that I didn't want flowers on my plate of food, parsley, and we laughed about that for years to come. BeaverButt Road in Tacoma, you had to be there.
A beautiful women and even more glorious soul, I pray that GOD has excepted you into his kingdom. That from there you will live forever and smile down on all of us as we attempt to navigate our paths without you. Please help and guide us grandma. I will miss you and you will always be loved and remembered.

My Grandma:
My Grandma Was a soft and gentle grandma. She was compassionate and unconditional with her love. She was playful, funny, and always available if I needed her. My grandma was love. She understood me and I miss that. She never judged me and was a great listener. There is nothing in this world my grandma loved more than her family. I remember my grandma as a simple woman. She didn't need much to be content. She found her happiness was often tied to the happiness and good health of her family, I believe. Grandma made this world a better place, a better place for me, the rest of her family, and everyone else she came in contact with. I will miss you Grandma. You are gone but will never be forgotten. Your Legacy will live on. You loved fiercely, and as your legacy I will strive to do the same. I love you Grandma.
