Obituary of Dustin Harold Ohler

On Monday, November 5, 2018, Dustin Harold Ohler, brother, son, and friend of many, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away while sleeping peacefully in his home. 

Dustin’s infectious laugh and bright smile will be treasured and forever remembered by his sister, Kristin Ohler; sister-in-law, Savannah Parker; mother, Loretta Bales; father, Dan Ohler; and by his found family, Jenny Nickl, Linda Parker, Carmen Parker, KyLynn Decker, and Courtney Tracy.  Dustin’s memory will also be a light in the hearts of his extended family, his many care providers, and his friends.

Dustin was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1982.  He graduated from Tumwater High School in Tumwater, Washington, class of 2001. He has lived and made lifelong friends in Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey, and Vancouver, Washington. 

Dustin found great joy in being with family, soliciting pocket money from friends and family, piling up stuffed animals and pillows behind his head, going for rides with the music on loud, reading mystery novels, watching music videos, and listening to music parodies.  He was a die-hard fan of the Price is Right, the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, Disneyland, and Doritos.

A Celebration of Dustin’s Life will be held Friday, November 16, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at the Pellegrino’s Event Center, 5757 Littlerock Road SW, Tumwater, WA 98512.
