David Campbell

Obituary of David B. Campbell

David B. Campbell, 56, passed away as a result of an automotive accident on July 29, 2018 in Olympia, Washington. He was born August 18, 1961 to Howard and Barbara Campbell in Alhambra, California.

An Olympia resident most of his life, David graduated from North Thurston High School, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Washington University, where he played rugby.  He married Cynthia Wernett on March 9, 1985.

David began working in the automotive industry after college graduation.  He was loved by all his commercial account customers; they miss him immensely!  David was a Paul Harris Fellow and member of Lacey Rotary.

By far, fishing in the waters of Sitka, Alaska was his most enjoyed activity (however, eating fish was not!).  He loved Sitka so much that he requested his ashes be scattered there.

David also loved his dog, Ace, whom he rescued from a shelter.  They snuggled and slept together every night. Ace misses his dad!

David is loved and missed by so many people every day.  He leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Cynthia Campbell; son, Cort; daughters, Lauren and Carlee; mother, Barbara Campbell; brothers, Gary and Brent; and sister, Lynda. He was predeceased by his father, Howard Campbell.

The family thanks everyone who sent cards, flowers, dinners and love!
