I worked with Robert at Weyerhaeuser. He was always encouraging and helpful and made me believe that I could accomplish more than I thought was capable of. I know he was so proud of his family and I'm so sorry for their loss.

Vickie and family. I'm so sorry to hear about Robert. I remember the day he was born and how proud his Dad was. His Dad would have continued to be proud of Robert. I was only able to know Robert well when he was young . I always wished we lived closer. Florida and Washington were just too far apart. Through the years I thought of Robert often and will continue to do so, Uncle Kermit

I have had the tremendous honor of working with Robert over the past year, and hearing the news of his passing has been a truly somber experience. "Doc" and I had a private meeting the Friday just before his passing and he expressed how excited he was to be part of our team at TrueBlue. But this was Robert's humble nature, and it was his team who was truly grateful to have known and worked with him. Robert's sincerity, love and devotion to his family and his peers was very honorable and he has inspired a new and meaningful perspective by the message he has passed on.
You will be sincerely missed Doc! Know that you have touched me, and thank you so much for life's gift of knowing you.

Vicki - I worked with Doc at TrueBlue. He was a joy to be around. He was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He and I used to be the early birds and would talk in the morning before others got in. He was a great man and will be missed always. Sorry for your loss.

Robert ‘Doc’ will be missed dearly here at Trueblue. He made lots of friends and taught so many people a great many things. His technical expertise, warm delivery, and willingness to share made him a very popular ‘go to’ person and a very important part of our operation. He was someone to aspire to and without a doubt his absence has cast a visible weight upon the team. Without a doubt we will remember Doc and his contributions for a long time to come. Our condolences go out to all of his friends and family.
Warm regards,
The TrueBlue Team

Vickie, after your call I had time to think about growing up with Robert in the same neighborhood, riding bikes to motorcycles, playing sandlock baseball. Some days we grab our shot guns and all shells we could carry and head out behind fire tower hunting, We also spent hours at the lake. Lots of great memories. We will all miss Robert. You and your family are welcome anytime to stay at the lake. Prayers for you and family.

Vickie, our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. When he was here he spoke of his love for you and the kids-grands, he was very proud. He helped our kids with our computer and reminisced with Donald about old times. They went hunting and we cleaned up some stuff from his mom's house. By the time he left, we were old friends. Good memories of a great guy. Thanks for sharing he will be missed by many.

So saddened to hear of Robert's passing. I knew Robert through his brother William when I was in High School. I dated William from 1978 to 1981. I remember going to Panama City to see your son Christopher after he was born. I still have a photo of William and I holding him. I remember him as a fun loving young man. My prayers to you and your family. God Bless. Pam Winslow
