I feel the loss of a kindred spirit and mourn for myself, but not for the spirit released from her frail body. I miss you, Donna.

Miss Donna – with your fight, and then your passing, I’ve learned so much more about you – what a good choice to have you for a friend! I’ve had the honor of meeting your family and some of your friends, all have shared the same respect and love for you and your life.. I miss you dearly, wish we had more time, wish we had been better friends sooner.. I will go on, rooting for the Pack for the both of us, wishing you could be here to yell with me! The world is a much better place having had you for such a short while.. My heartfelt condolences go out to your family…

Sorry to hear of Donna’s passing. Some of my best years were spent roaming the streets of La Crosse Wisconsin with her and “the gang” in Junior high/early high school!!! Condolences to her family. I will be looking forward to her celebration of life gathering here in La Crosse

I would like to express my deepest condolences to Donna’s family. I knew Donna through business and though we weren’t real close, I always enjoyed my time with her and our conversations, e-mails and phone calls.
Donna had such a light and fun personality. She was so welcoming and warm that it was very easy to be with her.
I recall her great sense of humor and her ability to laugh at most everything, including herself. I am grateful that I did get to visit her during her last few days and I was so inspired with Cynthia and Gina and the dedicated care and love that they showed to Donna.
I am glad to know at the end of her life she was surrounded by love. I will miss her bright light and her great sense of humor.

I miss working with Donna; we were swingshift coworkers and she seemed like a sister to me as well as a friend to confide in. We would joke about being from the same parents and separated at birth as it seemed we had a lot of similar personality trates; likes and dislikes. She was in the top 99% of people I would consider “People of Integrety and Honesty”. A down to earth sincere person with a good heart. She inspired me in my music endeavores and encoraged me to keep singing and playing the guitar and recording music. I will always carry her in my memories as one of the Best friends I’ve encountered in this life and look forward to seeing her on the other side some day. I love her as a friend. She was like an adopted sister.. John Boling.

Donna was someone who stood up for what she felt was right, stood by those she loved and cared for, and supported her convictions with her actions. She also had the biggest spot in her heart for her animals of anyone I know.
She was the consummate professional. Her inquisitive nature made her a great student not only at work but in her personal endeavors as well. She bravely and admirably fought her disease over these last two years.
We have lost a valuable asset in our organization and in our community.
I will miss Donna’s smile and her sense of humor most of all.
My condolences to all who hold her dear, Thank you for sharing her with us, if only for a little while.

Darla,
You were always such a great person to be around. Whether at work, a conference or just hanging out outside of work. I am a better person for having you involved in my life. I will miss you very much.

We shared a love of animals, nature, and the Blues. She always made me feel “special” when we went to concerts, dancing, or just hanging out fixing a good meal together. She will always have a special place in my heart.

60 years ago I had two close friends.
55 years ago I added a third close friend.
15 years ago, Donna became my fourth close friend.
Over the last 5 years my close friends have, one by one, left me.
Donna was my last close friend.
Although I am now friendless, I am blessed with memories.
