Obituary of Gary Backman

Gary Backman Gary was born September 19, 1949 in Butte, Montana. He passed away October 27, 2013 in Nachese, Washington where he was hunting with his boys. He was a retired Automotive Service director. His hobbies included hunting, camping, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Gary is survived by his wife of 48 years, Netra Backman; his children, Rick (Jennifer) Backman, Kari Backman (James Maciejewski), and Rob (Chelsea) Backman; his six grandchildren, Jacob, Brett, Kyla, Hannah, Courtney and Landen; and his two brothers, Bruce Backman and Vern Backman of Bozeman. He was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Belle Backman. The family requests if anyone would like to make a donation, please do so in Gary’s name to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
