Obituary of Raymond Lee Arnold

Raymond Lee Arnold Raymond was born to Clarence and Dorothy Arnold on September 7, 1955, in Olympia, Washington. Ray attended several Olympia schools and, after high school, joined the United States Army, serving for two years. Ray lived in the Olympia area for most of his life. He enjoyed Las Vegas, Nevada and lived there for a number of years before moving back to Olympia this past January to be near his son. Ray passed away on May 13, 2013 after a year-long battle with liver cancer. He is survived by one son, Daniel Carter of Olympia; one sister, Terry and husband Dick Lamb of Olympia; five brothers, Gene and wife Mary of Auburn, Washington, Joe of Olympia, Bill of Victorville, California, Carl of San Diego, California, and Jim and wife Laurie of Lucas Texas; uncle, Paul Arnold and wife Beverly of Prineville, Oregon; and a number of nieces and nephews. Ray was preceded in death by both parents; both sets of grandparents; two nephews, Michael and Tom Lamb; and sister-in-law, Carmen Arnold.
