Obituary of Marshall W. Perrow

The following obituary appeared in The Olympian and The News Tribune on Sunday, June 11, 2017: Marshall W. Perrow, a true Renaissance man, passed away after 101 years of life on June 5, 2017. He was born in Tacoma, WA in 1916 where he lived in the same house for 91 years before moving to Olympia in 2007. He was a very successful AIA architect for over 70 years, an incredible watercolor artist, served in the US Coast Guard in World War II, was a passionate sailor and private pilot, was a pioneer in the ski industry, and a very active community volunteer his entire life, supporting the arts, city planning, and education. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle, and son-in-law, Clark Burkheimer; two grandsons, Ian (Yoko) and Alec (Theresa) Burkheimer; and great-grandchildren, Kaito, Mia, Cale and Camden Burkheimer.
