Obituary of Dona W. Bird
Dona W. Bird passed away February 13, 2017 in Olympia, Washington, at age 89. She was her son Bruce’s biggest fan, and would attend all of his Special Olympics games and bowling tournaments. In her spare time, she loved to garden, and kept an award-worthy yard of beautiful flowers. Dona kept very connected to her community, and always had a warm hello for neighbors, the bank teller, or the grocery clerk.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bill Bird; son, Bruce Bird; daughter, Wendy Bird; parents, Lillian and Jurgen Von Dohlen; and sisters, Juanita Cosby and Shirley Jacobs.
