Obituary of Rodney Michael Spint

none Rodney Michael Spint, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2005. He was born December 3, 1934 to Del M. and Agatha M. Cook (Kucks) in Portland, Oregon. He entered the Marines at age 17 and served his country for 7 1/2 years. He had embassy duty in Bogotá, Columbia. Rodney married Judith A. Writer in 1977 and resided in Oregon, Colorado, and then in Washington since 1995. Rodney made his career in sales and was an entrepreneur. He is survived by his wife, Judith; two daughters, Darcy Jorgensen and her husband Jens and their children, Schuyler and Kirsten, and Jamie Parkinson and her husband, Jeff, and their two children, Hailey and Harley; one son, Duke Writer, Jr.; one sister, JoAnn Ramirez and her husband, Rudy; and one brother, Ken Spint.
