Obituary of Charles Rowe

Charles R. Rowe, Sr., 59, died Friday, November 4, 2005 at his home in Lacey. He was born April 28, 1946 in Ellendale, North Dakota to Eugene J. and Margaret G. (Murray) Rowe. He graduated from Ellendale Public High School and went on to serve in the Air Force for 4 years. Charles had lived in Ellendale for 18 years and in Lacey and Olympia for 35 years. He had been a Dealer and Pit Boss for the Lucky Eagle Casino in Rochester and had worked at the Spar Cafe in Olympia for 20 years at the Cigar Counter and as a Bartender. Mr. Rowe was a life member of the AM Vets, Post 2. He enjoyed bowling and golf. He is survived by his special friend and companion, Pam Boucher; sons, Charles Robert, Jr. and Scott; granddaughter, Sarah; sisters, Leona (Alfred) Gale of Maple Plain, Minn., Lois “Becky” Harbin of Olympia, Marilyn (Hubert) Fieber of Pittsville, Wisc., and a brother, Edward of Canton, Ill. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9 at the VFW Hall, 2902 ½ Martin Way E. in Olympia. A potluck will follow the service. Memorial donations are suggested to the AM Vets, 2902 ½ Martin Way E., Olympia, WA 98506.
