Obituary of William G. Putscher

none William G. Putscher, 53, a 50 year resident of Olympia, died Friday, October 28, 2005. He was born October 17, 1952 in Hot Springs, South Dakota to Gene and Eileen (Clouse) Putscher. In 1970 he graduated from North Thurston High School, Lacey. On March 7, 1975 in Olympia, Bill married the former Kirby Foss, who survives. Bill owned Boulevard Tavern from 1978 – 1983. He worked for West Star Corporation from 1984 – 2003. He started as Assistant Store Manager and left as an Inventory Control/Dispatch Manager for the company. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. Including his wife, Kirby, Bill is survived by his son, Kyle, Olympia; his daughter, Mackenzie, Tacoma; three brothers, Mike of Silverdale, Larry (Cindy) and Jeff (Kelly), both of Olympia; four sisters, Cecilia (Jerry) Henslin of Phoenix, Arizona, Mary (Chuck) Papiez, Angie (Bill) Hermes, and Kim (Bill) Sampson all of Olympia; and his parents, Gene and Eileen of Olympia.
