Obituary of James R. Prince

James R. “Bob” Prince, 75, a life long resident of Rainier, died Saturday, October 16, 2004. Bob was born December 4, 1928 to Paul Elliot and Louella (Clark) Prince in Oakville. On July 3, 1953 at the Yelm Methodist Church, he married the former Virginia Lindholm who survives. Bob served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator. He loved working in the garden and on his tractors. He also enjoyed hunting and clam digging. He held memberships in the Yelm Eagles Lodge Aries 4144, Operating Engineer Locals 302, and the Moose Lodge for 25 years. Including his wife, Bob is survived by 2 sons, William P. Prince, of Springdale and James E. Prince, of Yelm; 2 daughters, Barbara J. Wheeler, of Rainier and Kelley L. Pechacek, of Anchorage, Alaska; 3 brothers, Allen Prince, of Thailand, Paul Prince of Christmas Valley, Oregon, and Don Prince, of Auburn; 3 sisters, Louise Longmire, of Rainier, Jerry Weber, of Yelm and Anne Frost, of Rainier; 10 grandchildren and also 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 30, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Yelm Eagles Lodge Aries 4144, Yelm Hwy and Keoppen Rd. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Providence SoundHomeCare and Hospice, or Foundation for Parkinson’s Disease.
