Obituary of Kathleen Nyrehn

Kathleen Nyrehn, an 11-year resident of Lacey, died at home, surrounded by her family, after suffering from a long illness. She was born on March 12, 1931 in Woods Cross, Utah to Nelden and Jannett Nyrehn, and married John V. Herron in 1947 in Ely, Nevada.She was exceptionally devoted to her family and friends, and was very active in the community. She was a life member of the V.F.W. Post #318 Ladies' Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, camping, gardening, sewing, crocheting, crafts, and volunteer work. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Reese (Billy), of Washington; son, John Herron (Brenda), of California; four grandchidren, John Jr. and Kennith, both of Nevada, and Kathleen and Sandra, both of Washington; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Herron; son, Kennith; and daughter, Jannette. Memorial donations may be made to the V.F.W. Post #318 Ladies' Auxiliary or to Providence St. Peter Hospital.
