Dearest Family,
Even though our Mother has gone to be with the Lord - she will always be in our hearts. I am so thankful we were able to carry out her wish to stay in her beloved home of memories. I know she so enjoyed her last Summer sitting in her chaise in the warm sunny weather, several times a day with her coffee and newspaper, enjoying her beautiful yard and flowers and yes the little squirrels running around. Mother hung on until we were by her side and we told her it was OK to let go. I know in my heart she heard our thoughts and prayers and always knew she was loved. We will miss her deeply - Mother was a most gracious lady, and now in a much better place beside the Lord. I love you all, Carolyn

Carolyn, We are so very sorry for your loss. I know the terrible feeling of loss when your parent is gone. She is in a much better place with no pain or sorrow. You will have many years to remember and enjoy your memories of her. God Bless you and your family. I will keep Kay in my prayers as well as you.

Sorry to learn about your mom. We have carried on your family tradition of having a Christmas village every year since having first seen yours in the corner of your livingroom. It is amazing your mom was still living in the same house after all this time. In the picture your mom looked just the way I remembered her. I can't even imagine the last time I saw her.
My mom also died of congestive heart failure in '92.
Where are all of you now living? Carolyn, how are Patricia and Todd? Jim, are you still in Tumwater?
God's blessings to you all, Woody

So very sorry to read about your Mama's passing. She was a lovely lady and even tho we did not see each other as often as we should being neighbors w always knew she was there. That is a great picture of her in the paper. I read about the obits on the internet while we are in Phoenix. Our thughts are with you all. Does not seem like 50 years that she has lived there. Does make us feel older somehow.
