Obituary of Erin Colleen Mayer

3:00 to 6:00 PM Thursday October 20, 2005 The Masonic Center 521 North Street SE Tumwater, WA 98501 Erin Mayer passed suddenly due to asthma complications on Saturday, October 15, 2005. She was born on April 30, 1977 in Olympia, WA. She was a member of the Cowlitz Tribe. Erin was employed at Buzz’s Tavern so she could pursue her educational goals. She was currently attending South Puget Sound Community College to receive a degree and have a future in social work. She was a former employee of Albertson’s. Erin’s successes and hard work led her to a supervising position. Her exceptional social skills and sales abilities led her to have a personal connection with all of her customers. Erin had many passions in life. She was a self taught culinary master, a karaoke superstar, a sports buff, a shopping goddess, and was a very caring and giving soul in all aspects of her life. She is survived by her mother Sonja (Jerry) Johanson; her father Rudy (Vicki) Mayer; grandparents Jerome and Faye Voie and Helen Moyer; stepsisters Heather (Brian) Friesen and Hope Johanson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces plus a million friends. Erin has left a mark on every person that has entered her life. Erin, you will be greatly missed by all, and we will love you and remember you always. There are memorial donations sites at Buzz’s Tavern, Charlie’s Tavern, Trosper’s Bar and Grill, Frontier Foods, Western Meats, and Nickelby’s Restaurant and Lounge. A viewing will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at the Masonic Center, 521 North St. in Tumwater. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2005 at Odd Fellows Memorial Park in Tumwater. A reception will follow at the Tyee Center, 5757 Littlerock Rd. S.W. (across from Costco).
