The service was fitting for Aunt Myra. She will be missed, but she's at peace now and with her sister and her parents. Their family is complete again.
The rest of us need to try and keep in better touch. Although it was a nice 'family reunion", the loss of a loved one/family is no excuse to get together - it's sad we all seem to live fairly close and don't keep in contact.

I loved my grandmother and was saddened to hear this news from reading it in the newspaper.Even though i had not talked to her in a long time she was always in my prayers. I hope that my grandpa and aunt and the rest of the family is doing okay.
I remember when i would come up and stay when i was little she would wake me up so early to have breakfast and start the day,I appreciate that now!
I felt as a young child she truly cared for me and didnt associate me with the problems my parents had had at the time.we spent time down at the lake and she tried to teach me how to act like a proper lady when i hit the early teens, lol.
I live in olympia and have 2 boys now. 6 and 3. If anyone reads this and wants to contact me my email is meganelway@yahoo.com
