We are so sorry.........she will be missed. Never a St Patrick`s Day goes by with out thoughts of Vi and her parties. She will live in our hearts forever. I bet she is playing golf in heaven. She was a great lover of life and lived each day to the fullest.
Love always, Roxine & Michael

While I never met Vi, I heard many, many things and good stories about her from Twila when we worked together at the State. I know she was dearly loved. I am sorry to hear of her passing and the sadness of the last few years of her life. My sympathies..

Dear Jerry, Brenda, and Linda
So sorry to hear of your mother passing away. I am speaking for both myself and late husband Virgil (he was her boss at the Dept of L&I - you most likely remember)...we both thought the world of Vi and all her funny stories and wonderful thoughtfulness. Your mom was the best - many happy memories for knowing such a caring and straightforward woman. She and I spent many working days together at L&I. I truely missed seeing her every day after she retired, but seeing her on the golf course in her purple outfits always brought a smile to both of us. May she now be able to rest in peace from a disease that took too many happy golden years from her.
Writing from Tennessee at this time or I'd be proud to come to her memorial.

I lived across the street from Vi next to Rocky and had the pleasure of knowing her until she moved to the house on Craig. Ave. My mother also moved to that house before she passed away and I was there quite often and saw your mother there. We actually got to know each other better there. She was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. My condolences to you all.

I had the privilege of working with Vi at Labor & Industries. She was always in an upbeat mood. In addition, she was an inspiration to other women since she had a job that is traditionally thought of as a "man's" job. I feel blessed to have known her.
