Obituary of Clara J. Lawrence

Clara passed away from complications of a stroke. She was born to Charles Stewart and Violet Sage. Clara grew up in East Olympia and made the Pacific Northwest her home. She was a vibrant woman who made many a friend by striking up a conversation with a stranger. Clara spent many years selling Avon and made several wonderful friends due to her gift for gab. More recently, she enjoyed senior swimming at the YMCA with the "girls".Clara leaves behind her loving husband of 45 years, William Lawrence, daughter, Sheri Lawrence-Wallace (Cheryl), son Michael Lawrence (Michelle), Sisters, Mary Cashman (Joe), Linda Goodman, Maxine Lucas (Gordon), Vivian Doniego. She was preceded in death by brothers, Jerry Stewart, Robert Bergthold and leaves behind Tony Doniego. Clara was also a loving Grandmother to Chandler & Peyton Wallace, Courtney Andresen, Mikayla & Mackenzie Lawrence and Ariel & Grayson Gum. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Masonic Center, 521 North Street SE, Tumwater, Washington. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in remembrance of Clara to the American Cancer Society.
