Obituary of Lloyd H. Larson

Lloyd H. Larson, 78, a resident of Lacey for 34 years, died Saturday, August 20, 2005. He was born February 6, 1927 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to Axel E. & Dagney E. (Peterson) Larson.He graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry. Lloyd married Audrey Wozniak on December 23, 1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. Lloyd worked in the forestry industry as a consultant, first with the Forest Service and then as a private forestry consultant. Lloyd also lived in Idaho and Oregon, before settling in the Lacey area for the last 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, traveling and mountaineering. He was a member of the Society of American Foresters and the American Society of Consulting Foresters. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Audrey of Lacey; daughter, Leslie (Bob) Jones of Yakima and grandchildren, Emily and Matt.
