Obituary of Einar Olaf Kjesbu

Einar Olaf Kjesbu, 82, of Olympia, died Tuesday, September 13, 2005. Einar passed away peacefully at his home with his family at his side. He was born April 14, 1923 in South Bend, Washington to Edwin and Anna (Odne) Kjesbu. Einar was a 1942 Graduate of Roy High School in Roy, Washington. On November 21, 1953, he married the former Ellen A. Romtvedt, who survives. He was an engineer for Foss Launch and Tug Company. He is also survived by two sons, Einar E. (Grethe) Kjesbu and their sons, Kyrre & Joachim all of Oslo, Norway, and Erik (Marcia) Kjesbu, Tumwater; and a sister, Alma Lilly of Olympia. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2005 at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd on the corner of Henderson and North Streets, Olympia. Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Parkland.
