Obituary of Marilyn Joy Kilcup

Visitation will follow services Surrounded by her loving family in her home, Marilyn Joy Kilcup, 65, of Olympia, peacefully slipped away to the Lord Friday, December 17, 2004. Marilyn was born October 5, 1939 in Kirkland, Washington to Alfred and Emma (Thonney) Locati. She graduated as Valedictorian of Lake Washington High School in 1957. On March 21, 1958 in Kirkland, she married Dan D. Kilcup, who survives. They lived in Pleasanton, California for many years. She was the Operations Manager of Consolidated Bearings in San Leandro, California until her retirement. Marilyn was an accomplished artist. She loved oil painting, sewing, text making, gardening and farming. Survivors in addition to her husband include her son, Dean Kilcup, Tacoma; two daughters, Carolee McCoy, Tenino and Merrily Stenberg of Hayward, California; one sister, Helen Kay Wright of Kirkland; also 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
