Dear Dad, It has been almost a year since you left us. I can't believe how much I still miss you. Each day I have so much I'd like to share with you. You were the wind beneath my wings. My boys miss you a lot too. Losing you has made me miss Mom even more than I did before. We all love you so much and will forever.

Madelin...I just got back not 15 minutes ago from TX , visiting Stan and Nancy. I am sorry for your loss. Had he been really ill for a while? I know he had bouts with cancer and surgeries but thought he was going to outlive us all!!! Love to you and your family. Sorry I couldn't be there to help you. Joan

I was saddened to read of Harold's passing. My parents, Dave and Gladys Durham always spoke highly of him. I believe they used to square-dance together. Also my former wife's family , George and Cora Siers said that Mt. Adams orchards were just not the same after he left. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Although it has been a very long time since I last saw your dad...back in the White Salmon days, I know how close you were and how you have taken such great care of him during your years in Olympia. My deepest sympathy goes to you and your family.

Madelin, Mike and Tyson and your families,
I was saddened to read of your loss, its always so difficult to have a space in your world that is empty now. You just need to find another place to look for him. I always feel my dad's presence when I garden, maybe our dads are there together! One of the greatest legacies we can leave our children is some part of ourselves. His "corny sense of humor" and "outstanding in his field" are the legacies that show through you every day, Madelin. Maybe when you make the worst jokes, you will remember him!! Love and hugs to you all. Linda

You were so fortunate to have such a wonderful " Dad" & "Grandpa"
I didn't know him well, but on the few times I was in his presence I always felt like I had known him for years and that he was a part o my family. He reminded me so much of my father.
I know he will be missed very much, and I also know he was a godly man, and that he is resting with the Lord. You will see him again some day.
May you feel God's love, and recieve the comfort he has for you.
Love & God's Blessings, Cec
