Obituary of Timothy Huntly Grant
Timothy Grant, 20, of Chehalis, Washington, died Monday, March 7, 2005 due to a drag racing accident near Tumwater, Washington. He was born July 16, 1984 in Rockwood, Tennessee to Bruce H. and Robyn (Peddicord) Grant who survive. Timothy lived in Harriman, moving to the Thurston and Lewis Counties in Washington State in 1987. He attended Timberline High School in Lacey, Washington and Seattle Art Institute, Seattle, Washington. He was an aspiring shoe designer.
He loved shoes. He loved his little brother, Nicholas and little sister, Maya, his friends, talking on his cell phone, cars, sports, and wrestling. Timothy was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church and played church softball. He was also involved with YMCA football, and baseball.
Including his parents, Timothy is survived by four brothers, Nicholas Grant, of Chehalis, Jeremy Powers, Matthew Powers, and Johnathan Powers all of Harriman; his sister, Maya Grant, of Chehalis; his grandmother, Huguette Grant, of Lacey. Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Tom and Jennie Peddicord and grandfather, Huntly Grant.
In Timothy’s memory, share a meal, a cold drink or coffee and most importantly a conversation with a homeless person or teenager because Timothy did this every day!

With the sky has fallen
and the sun is no longer lumen sent
till then live your life with ecstasy
lust and honesty
because then life has meaning.
