Obituary of Betty Belle Everson

Betty Belle Devine Everson, 72, wife, mother, grandma, aunt, cousin and friend went to Heaven September 26, at home with family by her side, after battling cancer.Betty was born to Gladys and Bill DeVine June 24, 1933 in Olympia. She attended Olympia High School. Betty married Clifford Everson May 20, 1951 in Carson City, Nevada. They returned to Olympia where they made their home. Betty enjoyed camping, mushroom, fir cone and berry picking. She was a member of the Ladies Statehouse Trio Bowling League for many years and a member of the Capital City Bowman Club. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She was a homemaker and a daycare provider for several years. Survivors include her husband, Clifford; daughters, Robin (Gary) Fink and Kristie (Wayne) Kyes; sister, Bonnie Mayes; brothers, Bill DeVine, Jr. and Tom DeVine; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family will be celebrating her life Sunday at 1:00 PM at the Masonic Temple, 521 North Street S.E., Tumwater.
