Obituary of Hubert L. Campbell

1:00 - 1:45 p.m. Prior to Graveside Service Hubert L. Campbell, Jr., passed away February 7, 2006 at age 78. He was born June 6, 1927 in Olympia, WA. His family moved to Vancouver, WA in 1928. He attended Proebstel Grade School and Union High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served from April 1945 to April 1948. In 1953 he started work with Continental Can Co. in Portland, OR then transferred to the Continental Can Co. in Olympia, WA in 1959 and retired in 1983. Hubert very much enjoyed hunting, fishing and puttering in his garden. He was a member of the American Legion for 57 years. He is survived by two brothers, Clive S. of Brush Prairie, WA and Ralph L. Ridgefield, WA; three sons, Lloyd G. of Bountiful,Utah, Roland R. of Tacoma and Wallace J. of Lacey; two daughters, Cynthia E. of Thompson Falls, Montana and Sandra L. of Tumwater; many grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Park Hill Cemetery, 5915 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver, WA 98661. Visitation will be held at the gravesite from 1:00 – 1:45.
