Obituary of MaryMay Anna Lawrence Boudia

MaryMay Anna Lawrence Boudia, 76, a forty-one year resident of Olympia, died on November 29th at her home surrounded by members of her family. Mary was born April 23, 1928 to Edward and Mary Magdaline Lawrence in St. Cloud, Minnesota. It was there that she met and married Donald E. Boudia on October 1, 1949. During their 55 years of marriage they lived in Minnesota, England, and Germany before settling in Olympia in 1963. Mary was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed spending her time with her family, knitting, gardening, and traveling with Don within the United States and to revisit England. Mary enjoyed the many people she met throughout her life and was quick to make friends where ever she went. She is survived by her husband, Don; sister, Josephine Schleicher, of California; daughter, Christine Hamilton; sons and daughters-in-law, Guy and Majel Boudia, David and Jody Boudia, Tony and Vicki Boudia; grandchildren, Brenda Biscay, Christy Asbach, Guthrie Boudia, Matt Boudia, Mackenzie Boudia, Cooper Boudia, A.J. Boudia, and Griffin Boudia; and seven great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Lawrence; parents-in-law, Lawrence Peter and Julia Ann Boudia; sister, Grace Willenbring; brothers-in-law, Robert Boudia and Art Schleicher. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2004 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1021 Boundary St. SE, Olympia. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Tumwater.
