Obituary of Lillian Tangeman

Lillian Tangeman Lillian Tangeman, a resident of Olympia for the past 14 years, passed away on October 25, 2013 at home surrounded by loving family. Lillian was born October 2, 1931 in Yakima, Washington to Rozella and Henry Wilson. She met and later married the love of her life, Jack Tangeman, in 1948. They were married and resided in Yakima for 53 wonderful years until Jack passed away in 2001. She moved upon his passing to Olympia to live near her children and grandchildren Lillian worked seasonally in the canary to earn extra money to purchase school clothes for her girls and holiday celebrations. She was fun loving, caring, funny and a great cook! She would do anything to make her family happy and was extremely close to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, and is now by his side in heaven. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Curt Edwards and Sue and Mike Minion; three grandchildren, Travis Adams, Justin Adams, and Colleen Minion; four great grandchildren, Haley, Connor, Tanner and Ashton Adams; and her sister, Shirley Harrhues.
