Obituary of Neil Sackrider

Neil passed away, August 25, 2013 at home in Centralia with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 2, 1940 in Montesano, WA to Orvalle and Rosella Sackrider. He graduated from Centralia High School in 1958. Neil served in the army national guard and married the love of his life Nellie Schlender on December 1, 1967. He worked at Interchecks, Inc. as a check printer for 30 years. He is survived by his wife Nellie;his four daughters, Jody (Scott) Strong of Vancouver, Dawn (Jeff) Lininger of Centralia, Marti (Ivan) Huld of Olympia and KayCee (Chad) Martin of Tenino; his sister Janet Hanson of Centralia; 2 brother-in-laws Marv (Clair) Schlender and Don (Carol) Schlender both of Olympia; 2 sister-in-laws Rosetta Morris and Mary Libhart both of Tumwater; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orvalle and Rosella; sister, Beverly; and mother-in-law, Melitta Lambert. He loved his family, baseball, fishing, the beach, playing poker on Facebook and spending g time with his grand kids. He was a wonderful husband, great dad and terrific grandpa. A service for family and friends will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1209 North Scheuber Road, Centralia, WA on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon for those attending the service will be held immediately following the service at the church.
