Obituary of Rebecca Anne Roberts

At noon on Friday, the first of August 2014, Rebecca Anne Roberts passed away peacefully at St. Peter’Hospital in Olympia, Washington, while in the company of family members and after being visited by many of her cherished colleagues from the hospital. Anne was 68 years old. Anne was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on August 21, 1945, to Vernon and Nina Beavers. She was an only child and is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years and their two children, Robin Baker and Scott Roberts, and three grandchildren. Anne was a great wife and life-long partner to her husband; they shared many wonderful experiences and were always there for each other. She was a great mother who always had positive and encouraging support for her children and never missed any games they played. She would always be there to listen and gave great advice. Anne devoted her life to being the best cardiac nurse that she could be. She loved her work beyond measure. Being part of a team dedicated to saving lives was a dream of hers that came true. She was mentor to many, encouraging compassion and how to be great themselves.
