Obituary of Charles Joseph Mydlar

Charles Joseph “Chuck” Mydlar was born in Olympia, Washington, on August 6, 1951, and passed away on June 2, 2014, after a short battle with cancer. Chuck graduated from Tumwater High School in 1970, and received an Associate of Arts Degree from Centralia Community College in 1976. He was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1976. Chuck was retired from Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mae Mydlar; and his life partner, William “Bill” Harms. He is survived by brothers, Dennis (Susan) Mydlar and Terry (Debbie) Mydlar; sisters, Jane (Jeff) Anderson, Tammie Davidson, and Sandy (Paul) Rosscup; 11 nieces and nephews; three grandnieces; and one great grandniece. Chuck will be greatly missed. His quick wit, love for live, and smile brought laughter and lasting friendship to all who met him. The twinkle in his eyes said a thousand words.
