Juanita and her family wanted to recognize and thank the NW Kidney Center, specifically the Port Angeles Dialysis staff, for the exceptional care she received these past years; mom made many friends there, staff and patients alike. Juanita was born in Los Angeles, California to Leldon and Helen McCann and was a homemaker during her children’s formative years. When her son and his wife had their first child, they named him Michael Anthony McTarsney, III. Then the twins came along (Melissa and Michele) and the grandchildren were a pure joy to have. Juanita especially enjoyed being a great grandmother and she spent the last several years traveling to Southern California visiting great grandsons, Mikey IV and Aiden. Juanita also enjoyed cruises with her husband and daughter, going to Alaska, New England and the Mexico Rivera. Mike and Juanita were married for 47 years and they lived on Herald Street in West Covina for over 30 years prior to relocating to Washington. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kerri Sue McTarsney; grandson, Michael Anthony McTarsney, III (Ninett); granddaughters, Melissa McTarsney and Michele McTarsney; great grandsons, Michael Anthony McTarsney, IV and Aiden McTarsney. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Anthony McTarsney, Jr. in 1995. She will be missed by her sister, nieces, nephews and friends.
