Obituary of Roger Allen Landberg

Roger Allen Landberg passed away at his home on October 10, 2014 at the age of 89. He was born in Aberdeen on June 24, 1925 and moved to Elma area in 1941 where he has resided ever since. He has always been an independent business owner – first with Oaksridge Truck & Auto and then Landberg Construction until his retirement in 1982. He continued to enjoy his hobby of building all kinds of custom autos from Model T’s to Army trucks. Roger married Martha Helen Frary in 1950 and had four children, Carol, Rose, Roger Jr. and Timothy, before Martha passed away in 1968. Roger married Rosemarie Balcombe in 1974 who also preceded him in death in 2012. Roger is survived by his children, Carol Landberg of Elma, Rose Landberg of Seattle, and Roger Landberg Jr. of Elma; brother, Larry Landberg of Elma; as well as his step-children, Bill Balcomb of Lacey, Julie Balcomb of Elma, and Bob Balcomb of Tacoma.
