Obituary of C. Jerry Ladner

Jerry passed away September 20, 2013 in Olympia, Washington, at the age of 74. He was born August 12, 1939 to Clifton and Glynn Ladner in Gulfport, Mississippi. He married Judy Stifler on December 7, 1969 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and they raised two sons, Garry and Marty. Jerry was an entertainer, singing and playing the fiddle and guitar. He began playing professionally at age 12 and, in 1999, was inducted into the Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame. Jerry loved his family, music, all his fans, home, and swimming pool. He was a member of the Catholic Church, and his love of life and God continues on. He is survived by his wife, Judy Ladner; sons, Garry Ladner and Marty Ladner; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Paul Ladner; sisters, Linda Lacoste and Billy Lowery and their families; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
